Where do I start?
Gosh this week has been such a roller coaster of emotions for me.

Be warned - This is a long update but its full of eye candy!

Firstly let me thank everyone who sent me emails and messages wishing me well...my burns are "getting there" thanks to the wonderful Doc at our local hossie:)I hate, hate, hate being unwell and try always to look after myself - but unfortunate accidents happen and there isnt a lot you can do to prevent them.

Ive felt total poo pants all week because my teamies from UKScrappers had planned to come down for a scrapfest here in sunny Devon this weekend....Hubs and the guys were all set to go off camping (male bonding session without Mom there to "tut tut" at their silly school boy antics) but due to me being slightly worse of for wear, we had to postpone the weekend:( I was soo looking forward to entertaining my lovely friends, scrapping like mad and just generally having a good old giggle....sigh.:(

The new school year is looming and emotions are running high....J is very unsettled...unsure and anxious about feeling "left behind":( Im sure with the right support and understanding he will be fine BUT I do worry....just like any mother does when her babe is venturing on to secondary school....sigh :(

Not being very mobile has really given me a hard time...with deadlines looming and Hubs out of action for a couple of days, its been a real struggle but the guys have been total stars. They have fetched and carried for me....supplied me with cups of tea when needed and even had a bash at tidying the house! They are my heros....and according to a couple of girlies they are also "Boom Ting"...whatever that means? LOL!



All projects were completed well within time and Bobs helped me pack my goodies ready to be whisked away to the Genie...I really enjoyed putting together my projects for Issue 3 of Craft, Life & Home despite throwing a couple of all nighters to make sure everything and more got done! With so many wonderful products to use I just wanted to keep going...everytime I pulled another sheet of paper from my over flowing box of Genie stash I wanted to scrap, scrap, scrap!
Heres a sneaky of something.....bet ya cant guess what it is? LOL!!!!!


So with my projects making their way to Scrap Genie HQ, I was able to move on to scrapping with what can only be described as pure lushness in a box....my kit from Bad Girls finally arrived - yippety skips - the Bank Holiday weekend appeared to slow its delivery a little...thank goodness the postal strikes are over...phew!
The products in the September kit are just so scrumdiddlyumptious, but they would be because Wendy puts together the most fantastic array of goodies. We are talking Hambly, Prima and Maya Rd all perfectly bundled together....swoon...dribble....slurp!

Feeling ever so down in the dumps after spending what felt like forever at the hossie, I returned home late Wednesday evening...kicked off my shoes and was just about to head for bed when the phone rang......I thought it would be my buddie checking all was well, but before I could grab the phone in time it stopped ringing....ah well....whoever it was will phone back....and minutes later they did!

I cant begin to express my complete and utter shock when Trina from Piggy Tales was at the other end of the line congratulating me on making it onto their Design Team!!!! OMgoodness! Can you believe it? I know I cant and Im still pinching myself! Im still high with the excitement and am honoured that I will be working along side so many talented scrappers. I really do feel very lucky indeed that Ive been given such an amazing oppurtunity.

Since I started scrapping Ive met some of the most unbelievably talented people....go back to two years ago when I started scrapping, I admired so many peoples work...I had my favourites who really inspired me...I wont name them because they know who they are;)....some of my scrapping buddies pushed me and encouraged me to do things I never thought I would and now I am fortunate to be serving on DT's with those very scrappers I admired from afar....only now I can call some of these people my friends....real friends...friends you can trust and share your common bond. Gosh! Im sounding very gushy but I really mean it....Im so totally blown away that I have been given this chance in life and Im enjoying every bloomin minute:)Its just fun, fun, fun:)

Talking of fun......who fancies getting this lil lot landing on their doorstep?


OMgoodness! Theres over $800's worth of stash there!
